The best way to see how our program works before signing-up for the free trial is to follow through the tour below. Click an image to see the full-size version. Since our service is mostly web-based, nearly everything you see here can be managed from your home computer or remotely, from work or another location.

First-Time Login
After Christian-Net is installed and your computer is restarted, your web browser will open and ask you to sign-in to the filter. Just use the username and password you created during the sign-up process, and you'll be on your way!

Ineternet Access Status
Once you've logged-in to the filter, this screen may appear to let you know that the filter is active. In this example, the filter is set only to block certain web categories and protocols. From this screen, click the home button or put an address in the Address bar to visit another page.

Choose Profile
Each person in your family can have their own profile, giving you control over the Internet rules for each person on an individual level. You can delete this profile or create new ones from the Profile Manager.
TIP: Our filter comes pre-configured with one default filtering profile called "generous". If you don't want to change any settings, just choose the "generous" profile to get started right away.
TIP: If you don't want to log-in every time, try setting an "Active Profile" from the Account Preferences area of the Profile Manager. |
 |
Profiles
This page of the Profile Manager displays all of the profiles you've created, along with a quick summary of the features you've activated for each one. You can select a profile to modify its settings. |
 |
Profile: General
From this screen you can set several miscellaneous options for the profile you selected. You can temporarily turn off the filter or block all Internet access for this user, change their password, select a profile picture, or reset their settings to a default level. |
 |
Profile: Reports
To receive web access (accountability) reports, place a check mark next to each report you'd like to receive and enter an email address in the bottom box. The reports will be processed at the interval you select and sent to the email address you enter here. |
 |
Sample Reports
Reports are sent directly to your inbox. This is a sample of just one of our detailed reports. |
 |
Profile: Categories
Our web categories are separated into multiple groups. First, select a group from the left-hand side, then choose the category you wish to block. Most of the "bad" categories are listed in the "Adult" group. |
 |
Profile: Protocols
From here you can select the applications and protocols you wish to block. Our filter can block a wide variety of file sharing and communications programs. |
 |
Profile: Allow
If you would like to allow a web site or search keyword that would normally be blocked, you can do so here. |
 |
Profile: Deny
Enter any web sites you would like to block that aren't normally blocked.
TIP: When allowing or denying a web site, always enter it in the format "http://website.com". (Without the "http://" in front, the filter assumes you are entering a search keyword.) |
 |
Profile: Time
If you would like to restrict internet access to certain times of the day, simply select the boxes for the times the Internet should be turned-off.
TIP: Be sure your time zone is set correctly in the Account Preferences area. The default is Eastern. |
 |
Submit for Review
If you've found a web site or application that isn't properly categorized, use this area to let us know.
TIP: You can block bad sites right away from the Deny list in the profile settings. |

Account Preferences
This screen contains general account settings that apply to your entire account, and not to any one specific profile. These settings can be used to customize your family's filtering experience. |
